Director of Education & Training, Provident

Ed retired from the United States Air Force in 1994 as a Fire Protection Specialist. Shortly after his retirement he served as an Executive Assistant to State Senators J. Doyle Corman and Jake Corman. In June of 2000 he was appointed as the 4th State Fire Commissioner by Governor Tom Ridge and served 4 Governor’s in this capacity until January of 2015.

He currently works as the Director of Education and Training for Provident and serves as the Fire Chief of the East Derry Volunteer Fire Company in Mifflin County.
